In memory of William Joel Kursel, Good Knight/Open Canvas invites you to an amazing evening of art making on Saturday, November 11!
Open Canvas is a special chance for you and your guests to watch 80 artists as each creates an original painting in one day. Eat, drink, and be amazed as the evening progresses. Select a favorite, place a (high) bid, and take your treasure home with you.
Proceeds benefit the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and the The Eisner American Museum of Advertising & Design. The event will take place at 320 E. Buffalo St, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the P.H. Dye Building. (No cameras, please.)
Open Canvas was originated in loving memory of William Joel Kursel, whose passion for art and creativity was at the forefront of a successful advertising career. Please join the artists, friends and family in this fourth annual salute to Joel.
