Lindsey A. Wolkowicz was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Wisconsin in 1999 to attend the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design where she received her B.F.A with a concentration in painting. Lindsey currently works at MIAD where she is an admissions counselor and teaches Pre-College studio classes. She is also a creative/ freelance arts writer, contributing exhibition reviews and artist profiles regularly to MKE and ArtsScene. She is an active and exhibiting member of the Seventh Floor Studio in Bayview. She exhibits her mixed media work locally and nationally and it is represented in numerous collections.
