Work by freshman Madeline Peckenpaugh was chosen for a showcase at Ryan Braun’s Waterfront.
Played without Caution, a solo show, features ten paintings by Peckenpaugh. Her work is inspired by relationships- both personal interactions and by the relationships between objects.
“Her work has a sophistication and quiet voice with strong, beautiful lines,” says Pamela Anderson, curator and art director for Ryan Braun’s Waterfront. “I discovered Madeline’s work this summer and have already seen growth and confidence in the few months she has studied at MIAD.”
Peckenpaugh will be at Ryan Braun’s Waterfront for an artist introduction and reception on November 18, 2010 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public at 102 N. Water Street.
