Photography faculty member Sonja Thomsen has been awarded a Mary Nohl Suitcase Fund Grant to support her participation in the group exhibition, Renosance, at the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle through August 30. Sonja is the only artist currently located in the west who is participating in the show, whose participants come from throughout the state.
Director of Community Outreach Josie Osborne has also been awarded a Mary Nohl Suitcase Fund Grant to participate in a group show in Florida. She is also one of the jurors for the UWM Alumni exhibition Continium 5(0).
And Foundations instructor Shana McCaw, along with her husband, Brent Budsberg, and another collaborator, Mark Escribano, have also received a Mary Nohl Suitcase Grant to travel to travel to Calgary, Alberta for a collaborative exhibition and performance opening on Sept. 8.
