The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design seeks candidates for a Security Manager with a potential start date in August 2024. The Security Manager acts as a second-in-command to the Director of Health and Safety in all matters involving security of MIAD’s campus. This position is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of security needs with Allied Universal based on college calendar, general operational need, and special events. Additionally, the Security Manager monitors the activities of contracted staff and ensures policy and procedures are followed to maximize safety efforts. The Security Manager is visible, actively patrols campus, leads daily operations and steps into guard duties as needed. Typical shift will be 2pm – 10pm, Monday – Friday to maintain quality and overlap with the Director of Health and Safety.
