perglWorks by MIAD students, alumni and faculty can be seen all around Milwaukee this fall and winter.

Gallery 218, at 207 E. Buffalo St. hosted recent graduates Daniel Fleming ’10 (Communication Design) and Kathryn Kmet ’11 (Photography) in an exhibition that ran through November 27.

A Trio Jewelry Design Studio, 215 N. Water St., features creations by their jewelry designer Amy Shallow ’06 (Interior Architecture and Design).

Gallery Grand at the Grand Avenue Club hosts “Artists Who Tell Stories,” including works by Gillon, Brad Anthony Bernard ’93 (Painting) and Jilan Glynn ’82 (Sculpture). The exhibition runs through November 30 at 604 N. Water St.

Cardinal Stritch University was one of three local colleges hosting MIAD alumni. Tim Abler ’88 (Photography) contributed to “Wisconsin Labor: A Contemporary Portrait,” which was featured at Stritch’s Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery through November 6.

Jordan Waraksa ’07 (Sculpture) and MIAD Sculpture Professor Will Pergl are participating in “Current Tendencies II” at Marquette University’s Haggerty Museum of Art on 13th St. and Clybourn St. The exhibition, on view through December 31, pairs the work of the artists with Marquette academics, who used their expertise to write reflections on the artists’ works.

The Institute of Visual Arts (Inova) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee are exhibiting works by the 2010 Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellows, including MIAD Faculty members Paul Druecke ’87, Waldek Dynerman, Sarah Buccheri and Ashley Morgan. The show is open through December 4 at 2155 N. Prospect Ave.

MIAD Painting faculty member Santiago Cucullu will contribute original prints for the Dean Jensen Gallery‘s “Great Impressions III” at 759 N. Water St. through December 3.

“Earthbody,” a solo exhibition by Fine Arts professor Rina Yoon at the Elaine Erickson Gallery, ran through November 19 at 207 E. Buffalo St. Suite 120.
