Ben Herbert ’22 (New Studio Practice: Fine Arts) was one of only 16 students selected across 80 schools to be accepted into the 2021 Yale Norfolk Summer Program.
MIAD seniors honored with the Sarah Ball Allis Thesis Award
The Sarah Ball Allis Thesis Award is a one-time award to four Spring 2021 MIAD seniors. The awards support thesis projects by feminist artists that help propel the feminist movement forward, and is generously funded by the feminist artists of the Sarah Ball Allis Art Museum Exhibition.

Two works by Katie Grinell ’21 (New Studio Practice: Fine Arts) were accepted into the “Emerging Vision: Biennial Student Show,” exhibition at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center in Denver.

Three MIAD New Studio Practice: Fine Arts students – Abby Schwab ’22, Sara Moralez ’21 and Michie M ’23 – were recipients of the 2020 LGBTQ+ Scholarship presented by Cream City Foundation.
