t’s a Major Deal – an exhibition of juried sophomore and junior works from all of MIAD’s majors – held a ceremony recognizing student winners selected by jurors in Fine Arts, Illustration, Communication Design, Interior Architecture and Design and Industrial Design.
The exhibition features work created over the fall 2012 semester, and David Martin, vice president of academic affairs, said, “This exhibit speaks to the extraordinary talents of our students, and also of our faculty.”
The jurors commented that the impressive work made choosing winners extremely challenging. Industrial Design juror and MIAD faculty member Joe Ellice was thrilled at the opportunity, “I find looking at student work rejuvenating. To come and be in this ultra-creative environment is exciting and refreshing.”
