Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are the costs before any merit scholarship or financial aid is applied. 100% of MIAD students receive financial aid, and every student who attends MIAD full-time receives a merit scholarship. 

First-Year Tuition 2025-26

    • $43,360 per academic year (fall and spring semesters)
    • $21,680 per semester
    • $1,445 per credit hour (during the academic year)
    • $600 per credit for Summer 2025 Tuition

First-Year Fees 2025-26

  • $820 per year – Major fee
  • $370 per year – Student Services fee
  • $490 per year – Technology and Software fee
  • $100 charged in first semester – FYE Core Kit
  • $165 course and kit fee – FYE 100 (charged in the semester course is taken)
  • $90 course and kit fee – FYE 110 (charged in the semester course is taken)

Upper Level Tuition 2025-26

    • $43,360 per academic year (fall and spring semesters)
    • $21,680 per semester
    • $1,445 per credit hour (during the academic year)
    • $600 per credit for Summer 2025 Tuition
