Fahimeh Vahdat, Professor of Painting, will be traveling to Italy from November 6th to November 13th. She will exhibit and present a lecture on her work which deals with the theme “Female Narrations and Contemporary Forms of Violence” at the University of Naples, Italy. She has also been invited to be part of the round table “Normalization of Violence,” which aims to explore the ways in which women from different parts of the world narrate physical, psychic, and symbolic violence both in their pasts and present.
