Rich Koslowski

Locally born and raised Menomonee Falls resident, Rich Koslowski, is an award-winning writer and artist. Rich got his start as an animator and storyboard artist in the early 90’s on shows such as Muppet Babies, Street Sharks and the popular Sonic The Hedgehog! His work on the tv show Sonic led him to Archie Comics where he has worked as one of their artists for the past 30 years. Rich has also created his own Eisner Nominated comic book series, The 3 Geeks, which has successfully run since 1997. In 2002 Rich had his first major graphic novel, Three Fingers, published by Top Shelf Productions. Three Fingers was nominated for several prestigious industry awards and won the coveted Ignatz Award. In 2005 his second graphic novel, The King, was published by Top Shelf. This popular book has had five foreign language editions published since its release. 2010 brought his third graphic novel, BB Wolf and the Three L.P.s, a story written by his friend, JD Arnold. Rich was the Illustrator on this ground-breaking book. In 2022 Rich finished his most ambitious book to date, the 208 page graphic novel, F.A.R.M. System, a different take on the super-hero genre.
In Fall of 2023 Rich’s Illustrated Horror Novel, Mercy, will be released. Rich also enjoys creating original oil and watercolor paintings in his spare time and teaches courses at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
