Jeremy McDonnell holds an M.F.A. from Ohio State University, where he was awarded a full fellowship, and a B.F.A. from Herron School of Art. Since fall 2015 he has taught numerous courses in the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design’s First Year Experience program, including Digital 2D, Digital 4D, and Visual Language. In 2017 McDonnell was named an honorary member of MIAD’s Alpha Lambda Delta chapter, recognizing his impact on first-year students. Prior to arriving at MIAD, McDonnell served as Chair of the Arts Department at the University of New Mexico-Taos, where in 2011 he was named Most Inspirational Instructor of the Year. McDonnell served for eight years as Associate Director at Boston’s Barbara Krakow Gallery, and held professional and teaching positions at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. His work is in the collections of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Harwood Museum of Art, and numerous private collections.
