"Express Yourself Milwaukee celebrates the power of the creative arts to transform the lives of underserved urban youth in the community," said Lori Vance, EYM executive director/artistic coordinator.

“This exhibit aims to share the organization’s process, illuminating the reciprocal nature of the multi-media art-making processes undertaken by EYM youth and artists, who have created a sizable collection of visual art, performance pieces and set designs for their year-end culminating performances.”

EYM and this exhibition are supported in part by grants from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts, Racine Dominican Mission Fund, Greater Milwaukee Foundation Mary L. Nohl Fund, Bright Futures Milwaukee Fund, Bouman Dohner Family Fund, the Milwaukee Arts Board, MPS Partnership for the Arts Fund and the Non-Profit Management Fund.
