Please use this dropbox to share your creative work with the Admissions Office at MIAD.

Note: If you are uploading multiple images, please first compress the files into a single .zip file of jpeg images. Instructions are included, below.
How to zip my files
  • Send ONLY ONE .ZIP FILE containing .jpeg images and/or .mov files for video/animation. DO NOT send more than one file, or any other file types or presentations, including pdfs, tiffs, Powerpoint or Keynote. They will not be accepted.
  • Basics
    • Zip compression allows you to take multiple files/folders and turn them into one single file that can be emailed/uploaded.

    • The benefit is twofold. First, it makes the files as small as possible to be uploaded quickly. Second, it makes it much easier for us to download one single file instead of a dozen or more individual links.
  • Windows
    • Put all of your images or movie files into one folder. Give the folder your name: i.e. john_smith.
    • Locate the file or folder that you want to compress.
    • Right-click the file or folder, point to Send To, and then click Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • A new compressed folder is created. To rename it, right-click the folder, click Rename, and then type the new name.

  • Mac OS X
    • Put all of your images or movie files into one folder. Give the folder your name: i.e. john_smith.
    • Locate the file or folder that you want to compress.
    • Right-click or Control-Click the file or folder, point to Compress “Filename” (or Create Archive)
