“The Alligator Hunter,” a short film by Kyle James ’15 and Mallori Taylor ’15 (and Michael Bourne) was accepted into the Anima Syros Film Festival in Greece, and the London Short Film Festival. At the latter, their film took home the “Audience Favorite” prize.
The Designship logo received a merit award in the logo design category of the 2018 Adworkers Milwaukee 99 Show.

Alayna Lemmer Danner ’08 (Illustration) chosen as Featured Artist at GenCon 2018. According to the GenCon website, GenCon is “the largest consumer hobby, fantasy, science fiction, and adventure game convention in North America.” Alayna is employed as a freelance illustrator and concept artist.

Logan Gage ’18 (Industrial Design) won first place in the 2017 Delta Faucet Design Contest, a collaboration between MIAD and Delta Faucet. His design is now patent-pending. He also recently received an honorable mention at the 2018 International Housewares Association’s 25th Annual Student Design Competition for his twist jar opener design.
