After graduating from MIAD (then Milwaukee School of the Arts) in 1976, I moved to Los Angeles and pursued a professional career in design. Having worked as a designer in the exhibit, design and retail industry, I eventually began teaching in 1992. I have been with The Art Institute of Phoenix since 2002, where I teach in foundations, interior design, graphic design and fashion marketing.
I received my MFA in Fine Art from California State University Los Angeles in 2001, and graduated with highest honors.
