Melissa Courtney has been working in the creative industry for 20 years, wearing many different hats and playing many different roles. She has consistently exhibited and sold work in galleries in the Midwest, the east coast and Montreal. She currently shows with Var Gallery in Walker’s Point, Milwaukee. For 20 years, she has been an educator with the Milwaukee Art Museum, Museum of Wisconsin Art, the Sharon Lyn Wilson Center and currently with the Lynden Sculpture Garden. She has developed programs for the alternative education community, giving lectures and classes on project based art curriculums. Melissa is co-owner of B2Design, a design firm in Milwaukee that specializes in innovative logo design, and has lead the culture of hand printed posters in Milwaukee. Currently, Melissa is Creative editor for Reginald Baylor Studios, a brand icon that manufactures, broadcasts, and serves the creative industry culture.
