After graduating from MIAD in May of 2003 I joined the army under the 18X program. The program has been curtailed for now, but for awhile it allowed qualified civilians to enter the army and after completing basic training, go immediately to Special Forces Assessment and Selection. In the Spring of 2004 I was selected and went through the Special Forces Qualification Course, graduating in November, 2005, as a Weapons Sergeant.
Currently I am assigned to C. CO, 2nd BN, 3rd Special Forces stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and will be attending the Combat Divers Qualification Course this March.
