Michael’s extensive career in design and engineering of light fixtures includes architectural decorative lighting, custom fixtures as well as task lights for college dorm rooms, nursing homes, hospital patient rooms and exam lamps for doctor’s offices. Some of his projects include the Yale Law Library, Wisconsin Department of Justice, Brown County Library, The Sharon Lynn Wilson Performing Arts Center and The Harley Davidson Museum.
He has an engineering degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering and an industrial design degree from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
Michael’s singular approach to design has resulted in being granted four patents pertaining to uniquely designed light fixtures and making task lamps safe in a health care environment. He has also received the Nightingale Award for achievement in the field of health care design.
Michael has been with Visa Lighting for eleven years.
