MIAD students and Milwaukee teacher develop game to broaden cultural representation
Hands-on professional experiences are an important part of a MIAD education. In the video above, Rocky Ho ’23 (Illustration), Melvin Hood ’23 (Communication Design) and game co-creator Jason Crayton discuss designing and illustrating the new “Factions: Battlegrounds” fantasy strategy game. The game aims to broaden cultural representation in the board game industry. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, the game will be produced in spring 2021.
