Areas: I’ve worked in mixed media, watercolor, acrylic and more recently have embraced pastel painting. Plein Air events and workshops have become a focus in the last few years. I have joined a number of art organizations that offer inspiration, technique development and the opportunities to exhibit artwork.

I recently retired from teaching elementary and middle school Art. After attending MIAD I received my teaching degree from UW-Madison and eventually an MS in Art from UW-Milwaukee. Currently I’ve been concentrating on the landscape and creating interest through a varied palette, building texture, exploring different surfaces and techniques. My love of travel and interest in Plein Air compliment one another beautifully.
