Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Multicultural Student Centers (MSC) Website! The Centers are a collective of offices that enhance the learning and success of African American, American Indian, Latino/a, and Southeast Asian students. The offices are located in close proximity to each other on the first floor of Bolton Hall:
The primary focus of the Marquette University Office of Intercultural Engagement is to enhance the overall quality of the Marquette experience of underrepresented and diverse students by supporting, facilitating, and promoting academic, social, cultural, and personal success. The two centers provide supplemental resources to support student development and growth in the areas of leadership education and training, social justice education, student advocacy, retention and mentoring programs, community outreach, and diversity celebration.
National Resources
When students attend college, they gain exposure to a slew of ideas and research efforts that expand their perceptions, global awareness and ability to work with others. Colleges serve as cultural hubs in our society, and campus administrators recognize the strong need for diverse student populations. Inclusive campuses also honor the histories of various civil rights movements in the U.S.; academic access can serve to empower and advance minority groups.
