MIAD’s Annual Sale of Student and Alumni Art & Design Work, Nov. 29 – Dec. 1
MILWAUKEE (November 12, 2018) …The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) hosts the 8th annual MIAD Holiday Sale – a sale of student and alumni art and design work – November 29 – December 1, 2018 at MIAD’s 4th Floor Raw Space, 273 E. Erie St. New this year, the sale has extended shopping hours on Saturday, Dec. 1.
At the MIAD Holiday Sale, a holiday tradition held every year during the first weekend of December, visitors can shop thousands of one-of-a-kind art and design creations from emerging and established artists and designers at all price points. Gifts available include sculptures, paintings, photographs, furniture, cards, ornaments, jewelry, handbags, ceramics and more. Plus, meet the artists and designers who are behind the amazing creations.
Preview Night is Thurs., Nov. 29, 6 – 9 p.m. and admission is $10. Tickets are available to purchase at the door. Free admission for the MIAD Holiday Sale is Fri., Nov. 30, 5 – 9 p.m. and Sat., Dec. 1, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the MIAD Holiday Sale support the more than 100 participating artists and designers, and benefit MIAD student scholarships.
The MIAD Holiday Sale annually draws more than 1,000 visitors to MIAD’s campus in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The sale coincides with the Historic Third Ward’s Christmas in the Ward celebration.
