Jade Akim ’19 wins second place in global GrabCad Extreme Design Competition

Jade Akim ’19 (Industrial Design) won second place in the 2018 Grabcad Extreme Design Competition for her sleek and modern table lamp design. Her design won in the contest’s Art, Design, Architecture, Jewelry category. The 14th annual competition “calls upon tomorrow’s engineers, artists and entrepreneurs to design a better future. It is a test to see who can come up with the most creative, mechanically sound, and realistically achievable design using 3D printing.” More information.
