Work by Julio Cordova ’12 was selected for publication in “Celebrate People’s History: The Poster Book of Resistance and Revolution.”
“Celebrate People’s History” was published by The Feminist Press and edited by Josh MacPhee. It features Cordova alongside numerous accomplished artists, including Chris Stain, Eric Drooker, Christy C. Road, and the artist known as Swoon.
The book contains posters that highlight acts of resistance and notable events in human and civil rights struggles. Cordova completed his poster as a student project in a visual design course. The Visual Dynamics course focuses on color, light and time in digital and traditional media.
