More than 150 talented high-school students from across the country will culminate their Pre-College programs with exhibits on Gallery Day/Night, July 23-24, and on July 31.
Pre-College offers intensive studio, technical and conceptual experience for high school students of all levels, allowing them to choose courses from MIAD’s 11 major areas of study and empowering their talent within a college environment.
The two-week Core program, designed for students working at the beginning-intermediate levels, culminates with an exhibition July 23-24 during the Historic Third Ward’s Summer Gallery Night and Day. Hours July 24 are 9:30 am to 12:30 p.m.
The three-week Majors program, designed for students working at an advanced level, awards students three MIAD college credits. The MAJORS Program Exhibition will be on view July 31, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.
