Senior Painting major Brooklyn Henke will have a painting on exhibition tomorrow night (Friday) at the Milwaukee Art Museum’s MAM after Dark program Jan Lievens on a Jet Plane. You can find more information about the 5 p.m. to midnight program at www.mam.org/afterdark
Next week, the featured program on the MAM after Dark site will be Fountain of Youth, MIAD Foundations students and established artists exhibition on Friday, March 20.
But back to Brooklyn. She is also painting a mural to commemorate the Milwaukee Public Museum’s 125th anniversary as part of her internship in the Education Section there.
According to Brooklyn, “The internship at the MPM is a fantastic opportunity, and fits perfectly into my goals and aspirations as an artist. Ultimately I’d like to continue work with natural history art, from painting to illustration.”
