Members of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee showcase their work in a special exhibition during Winter Gallery Night at MIAD. The exhibition features the club’s most talented artists as they display their work in the club’s annual fine arts exhibition.
The exhibition is on view in the Fourth Floor Raw Space Jan. 20 – 23, including during Winter Gallery Night.
The exhibition is comprised of more than 40 works, including sculpture, mixed media, painting and more. Judges select the top three pieces to be submitted to the Regional and National Boys & Girls Club competition.
Boys & Girls Club members at each of the 44 locations throughout Milwaukee are offered the opportunity to participate in quality art programs. Programs include pottery, filmmaking, woodworking, drama, jazz and painting, among others.
Members who develop an interest and talent for the arts are provided with more opportunities to develop their skills, including meeting with professional artists and touring local studios and museums.
