More than 20 outstanding artists and designers show their works in the MIAD 2009 Juried Exhibition May 29 – August 9 in the college’s Frederick Layton Gallery.
The works were selected by MIAD faculty from the 2009 Senior Exhibition and represent the breadth of the college’s 11 majors. They include:

- “22 Years of Inventory,” a performance-based installation by Ashley Gustafson that “addresses the poetics of objects, expressed through the social construction of the gallery.”
- “Elevate, *bring your plants to a new level,*” a new design perspective for urban gardening by Industrial Design major Steve Hyma
- “Rise and Fall,” photographic works by Adam Longbonz that “harness today’s uncertainty, creating a world that seems to dance between fact and fiction.”
- “Clarity and Uncertainty,” pastel drawings by Jeffrey Sama “inspired by an appreciation for Creation.”
